About Us
In 1988 Quentin Millman began
repairing and servicing fishing reels predominantly for friends and
acquaintances. By 1990 the company known today as Q.M Quality Service
had gained the recognition of the The Shakespeare Tackle Company, who
appointed it their Service Centre for the South West of the United Kingdom.
   
This was closely followed by
Shimano whose Managing Director, John Loftus contacted the company to
request the Q.M Quality Service also be their service centre for the South
West.

This led to the expansion of the
company from it's modest beginnings to our current service centre unit at
23 Willow Court, Plymouth where Q.M provides quality service, repair and
spare parts including precision bearings for most makes and models of
fishing reels including models not generally catered for such as Tatler and
Intrepid etc.
